Functional and tasty
I bought this powder as I was heading into late spring, with higher temperatures and more sweat in running. It does what one would hope of an electrolyte mix, keeping my salts balanced better than straight water; also, while I haven’t yet put it through a major stress test, I have found I don’t perceive any “goopy” feelings in my stomach when consuming about a pint in a 70-minute run, which is an improvement over Gatorade. Finally, despite its functional emphasis on keeping chemicals in balance, it tastes like pleasant lemonade, not salt.
