You’ve done your research and you know very well that if you want to achieve optimal results, you must be following a good diet.
But chicken breast after chicken breast and you start to grow tired. You might change things up and have turkey one week, but shortly thereafter, you’re tired of that as well.
Perhaps the hardest part about getting into and staying in phenomenal shape is eating to do the job. If you get bored with recipes pretty quickly, try staying motivated and entertained with meals by cooking with friends.
Here are some ideas to get you started.
Host A Potluck Night
Perhaps one of the best ways to quickly pick up on a few new recipes is to host a potluck night. Rather than meeting your friends in a restaurant to eat – a place where healthy choices will be very hard to come by, invite all your health minded friends to bring their own personal favorite recipe to your place one evening for dinner.
Tell them to not only bring the dish, but also print out recipe cards that each of your friends can take with them if they enjoyed that dish. Gather six to ten friends for this event and by the night’s end, you can have that many new recipes to add to your repertoire.
The great thing about doing this is that you can taste the recipe first so you know if you like it. If you don’t, you can pass and carry on to the next dish. You might even want to assign a few friends to dessert dishes so you can get a good variety of different recipes to create.

Attend A Cooking With Friends At A Class
Another great way to learn more healthy cooking techniques and recipes is to join a cooking class with a friend.
You will have to search a little more to find one that is healthy minded, but when you do, sign up and see what you can learn. Also keep in mind that different styles of cooking may be healthy as-is, so they don’t have to be advertised this way. For instance, if you’ve always wanted to learn how to make sushi, find a sushi making class. You can usually find these that happen over just one evening, so it’s a perfect chance to learn new skills and get a delicious
meal while you’re at it.

Have A Night In
Finally, also consider simply having a girl in. Invite two or three friends over and rather than ordering a meal in, prepare your own healthy meal. Dress up a little if you want and make it a five course meal – preparing each element of the meal with care to attend to good nutrition.
If you put a little creativity into it, cooking and healthy eating doesn’t have to be boring – or mean that you are a social outcast. So many people who are following healthy diets feel like they have to turn down many social invites simply because they know they wouldn’t stick to their diet plan if they attend.
Find some healthier focused friends and then come up with evenings such as the three described above. You’ll quickly see that it’s far easier to enjoy yourself – and eat healthy at the same time when you do it with a friend.
